comments fail

I get a lot of spam via comments to my website. The people and the automated software that create these nuisance comments will do anything and everything to make their mark, so website owners like me wind up in an arms race of sorts: they try a new tactic, and I try a new counter-tactic. As a result, I have put in place some rigorous checks that are sometimes overzealous. Occasionally, legitimate comments are discarded. If you're seeing this, it could mean that your comment 'failed' one of these checks.
