caffeine

Toronto, 2004.12.03

I think I've found the key to quitting caffeine. When I last tried it, in what would have been Autumn of 2000 had I not been in Australia (where it was Spring), I went from 3-4 cups of coffee to nothing all at once. I assure you, it was murder.

This time, I went from 2 cups per day to 1 cup per day. Then, two weeks later, I ran out of caffeinated coffee. So I started using decaf. And while it doesn't taste the same, I've already noticed some happy improvements. Such as, the deep dark circles under my eyes are fading a bit. And I can concentrate more easily.
