the wealthy die, too

Toronto, 2005.02.16

Today I was passed by a limo-studded funeral procession on Eglinton St that had a substantial police escort. It was almost as much of a procession as we'd see in Kiribilli when the Aussie Prime Minister would bustle by with his substantial police escort all a-light.

I guess someone with money and/or connections and/or fame died, because they tied up all of the traffic eastbound on Eglinton between Yonge and Mt. Pleasant (and, I suppose, well beyond that).
