Today I learned how NOT to clean your television.

1) Do not leave it on while cleaning it

2) Do not use a Swiffer or similar electrostatic cloth to wipe the front of it

3) Most certainly do not run the electrostatic cloth over the on/off button while the television is powered

If you do the above, you will get a shock so bad that your finger(s) go numb. Also, the TV will temporarily 'short out' and lose power. Yes, the TV will have been cleaned, but the necrotized flesh can't be worth it.
