Tracey in the park

Toronto, 2005.05.23

Today, after the usual money-spending-spree, Tracey and I took a blanket and sat in the park to read. It was cool and blustery (and this is late May!). The park was also plagued by small bands of teenagers that roamed the fringes of the park and shot bottlerockets at one another. Which can be a bit disconcerting until you remember the old adage, "it's all fun and games until someone loses an eye - then it's a sport". So we had fun. Unfortunately we were not smart enough to bring booze. Duh!

Also, while shopping for a book for Jon, I managed to pick one up for myself. So now I'm back to reading three books at once. Sigh.

rand()m quote

When I was a teenager I was sure I'd be dead before I was thirty. Let's just say that I am well into some serious gravy time now but sometimes I wonder if I am actually dead and this is hell.
