going away!

Toronto, 2005.07.01

Today we're heading off to the Haliburton "highlands". We've got a small cottage for the week - I'll be staying until Monday and Tracey will be staying until the 10th or so. It's a new place on large property outside of one of the small villages that dot central-northern Ontario.

It's our first break since August of last year. I don't know where all of the time went, but it has been a fair haul.

Geoff C is coming along as well.

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
