I'm back (again)

Back online. Again.

I had journal items in late 2006 and throughout 2007. But you'd never know, because they were wiped out in a catastrophic database failure. My internet service provider—webserve.ca—was running their service without doing any backups of the database servers for some months. This meant that they were unable to recover from some error, and I lost all my work.

In return, they lost a client! My new provider—netfirms.ca—allows me to do my own backups, so I'm operating without fear of a recurrance.
