writing coach

I've taken another step towards getting my novel completed. My agent has suggested a writing coach, and I've decided to follow up on that. My agent believes my story to be worth pursuing, but in need of enough improvement that some coaching would make it publishable.

The idea is that she'll review the manuscript, suggest changes to the story-telling aspects and then mark up the whole thing line-by-line. I hope this works out—it's not a cheap service.
