cycling in October

The weather this autumn has been pretty lousy. There was no real rain in the spring-time 'rainy season', but now that the weather is supposed to be sunny, cool and beautiful, it's been frequently rainy, and constantly windy. I've switched from shorts to longer pants for the 30 minute twice-daily commute.
I guess I can't complain. In Calgary I'd have stopped cycling by now due to cold, and in Vancouver it would be rainy incessently. In Toronto it owuld be even more stormy than it has been here.
