black hole lens

Tokyo, 2008.01.13

My friend, who's recently bought not one but two cameras, suggested today that a very small black hole should be use as a lens for photography. The idea being that it would gather all of the light without any diffraction or internal loss.

I'm supposed to be a sci-fi writer, and I don't come up with anything that good....
