another(!) flat tire

Tokyo, 2008.02.25

The thing with the flat tires is getting out of hand. I managed to cycle most of the way home, this time, but this is the third week in a row that's started with a flat.

Now I'm riding on a tube that I've patched myself. A minor sense of experience even if it's along with a large sense of aggravation.

One thing I have to wonder at: why is that when you stop to change your tube on the street, the people around you look at you like must be mad. I mean, people have a tendency to look at me like I'm attempted open heart surgery while sitting on the steps of some building. It's really not that complicated!

rand()m quote

My grandfather once told me that there are two kinds of people: those who work and those who take the credit. He told me to try to be in the first group; there was less competition there.
