lenses

Tokyo, 2008.06.06

Tonight I was pissed off with the world after work, and had to go for a long walk. Strangely, that took me to two camera stores. At one of them I spotted a lens which would be an upgrade to one of my current lenses. It was only $100. I expect I'll be able to buy one online sooner or later for about $40, so I din't pick it up (and, the current lens is functioning just fine, if unremarkably).

At that same store, I saw two copies of my very favourite lens. One was $126, the other $157. I'm seriously thinking of going back to buy one of them. It's the Pentax lens that simply excels well beyond any other lens I've used. Hmmmmmm.

rand()m quote

Some people talk about living every day like it might be their last. Maybe that's good advice. Carpe diem and all that. But perhaps it's better to try to live every day like it might be everyone's last. If there are people in your life who are important to you, let them know...
