separated but still similar

My brother discovered that he and I had bought the same watch. The previous year when we'd met in Toronto, he pointed out that he and I had bought the very same jacket, even in the same colour. Needless to say, these purchases were made at different times and places, but it seems that either choices (especially of jackets) are rare for guys our size, or our tastes are similar. Or both.

Rather weird.
