the cycle story continues...

I went down to the parking area early* this morning and had a look at my twice-flattened front tire. Sure enough, it's got a fair bit of wear, enough that there are small holes through which the tube actually protruded in a little bubble. Checking the second burst tube against it, the hole lined up nicely with the particularly conspicuous hole in the tire.

Now I'm stuck at home with a long way to go to any known cycle shop for a replacement tire!

*In Tokyo, you need not take your bike up to your apartment to prevent theft. You don't even need to lock it overnight!
