adoring fans

Cycling home at this time of year the city streets are full of people celebrating. It's bonus season and carousing people in sharp new clothes wave for cabs from the side of the road in small knots.

After passing several of these groups it occurred to me that they were waving at me like I was a passing athlete. So I started waving back, as if to my adoring fans.

It was fun.
