this week's fever brought to you by....

My son has simultaneously brought home his first and second illness. The first was a cough and a high temperature. The second was a case of conjunctivitis.

Naturally, my always-shaky immune system decided to pick up both infections and run with them. It's now been three solid days of fever, sleepless nights, coughing, sore throat and ears, and a runny nose. Plus of course the conjunctivitis, pictured here. Forgive me if my focus was a bit off!

And he's just started daycare, where he'll be picking up a lot more germs.
