day eight

It's now day eight of nearly incessant high temperatures (up to 38^o) for me, and now my son has had it off and on for at least four-five days (last night reaching a high of 40^o).

On the plus side, and I think you'll agree this is pretty thin, I was able to construct the sentence in Japanese: "It's perfect hanami weather and I have a cold and fever". I told this to the fellow working behind the counter at the combini as I was buying yet another vitamin-C related product.

That's right, I've learned how to grouse in my adopted language.
