it's our anniversary

Three years ago we got married on a beach in Thailand. Today is not the anniversary of that event.
Nor is it the anniversary of the reception, when we had friends and family from all over the country get together. It's just the anniversary of the paperwork. But it's paperwork that matters in Japan.
And as of this year, I realize that I have a trick for remembering the date: it's the day after Hallowe'en.
No matter the dates and mnemonics! Mari, thank you for three wonderful years.
