Tokyo, 2010.07.21

First came the realization that I could no longer drink like I once could. That I could live with.

Then came the realization that I was slowing down, physically, and was simply no longer as energetic as I've always been. That's a problem, and tied to it is a new-found tendency to struggle with my weight.

I no longer listen to the radio, I don't have time for the news, and I see less and less of my friends with each passing year. Getting old, it seems.

But now this. I was in an electronics store on the weekend and was surprised to find that there are now USB 3.0 products on the market. I hadn't even read that they were in the works. I'm even out of touch when it comes to electronics widgets. I used to build my own PC's, and now this. Sigh.
