a tale of two Werneburgs

Tokyo, 2010.10.15

I've had occasion to have both myself and my son photographed for official purposes, recently. Really no comparing the results.

I guess there's a morale in there like "Love yourself and your family and don't go drinking お酒 with your friends." But, ah, who'd I be to trot that out.

P.S. Yes, I'd ridden my bike to the driver's license place with no helmet, and yes I've since had a haircut. Funny enough, Kenny's photo was more or less an action shot .. he refused to sit still for the photographer and happened to hold a usable pose for a fraction of a second while the photog blasted away..

Human beings, who are almost unique in having the ability to learn from the experience of others, are also remarkable for their apparent disinclination to do so.
