moving in is hard to do

We spent the morning at the Canadian Tire, rounding up a million little odds and ends for the new apartment.

There was so much stuff, we had to have a taxi take it all back.

Man o man, you can spend a lot of money while moving between continents. In addition to the fortune we'd spent on getting the stuff shipped, we're looking at various furnishings and then of course replacing all of the little things like plates and whatnot that weren't in good enough shape to warrant shipping. And in this case, it's meant new winter clothes for The Boy.

So not a great time to be spending on things I might like but can't afford.
