camera returned!

Toronto, 2011.04.25

I've got my camera back. Whoever rented the car after me returned it within 24 hours and my camera was still where I'd left it.

And the agency proved less sketchy than I'd figured: they even called on Sunday to tell me that they'd found it. And sure enough, this morning they handed it back safe and sound. Kind of amazed, really.

After I told Mari that I'd lost it, she told me, "It's like we've lost a member of the family." That camera was on our honeymoon, and was there when Kenny was born. So good to have it back. Not least because the lens attached was a birthday gift from Mari!

seriously! you got it returned? sounds like you have some japanese feng shui stuff going on there. especially since your earlier entry talked about the shadiness of the car rental operator.

Amazing, isn't it. I tipped the fellow from the agency $20 for his effort.
