on occasion I do actually watch TV

Recently Mari and I watched a season of Doctor Who. This week, I watched an entire season of "Archer" in three days.

Bad Michael. Bad, tired, Michael.

On the plus side, no children were exposed to this viewing. It's not exactly child-friendly viewing, what with all of the ————, ———- ———. ———- —-, and of course ———- —-. I wish I could say the same for Season One. Ah, but what are the chances of a nine-year-old remembering a scene where a man ————- another man's ——— in the lobby of an office building in ——-? Or the subsequent ———, ————, and car crash?

Reminds me of a time when my ex-girlfriend's niece walked in on us when we were watching a bizarre Irish movie about witches. It was a bit of a child-unfriendly affair, too, but nothing was anything like the very scene that the girl walked in on: when someone got her throat cut. A couple of years later, I asked the niece, "Do you remember the movie you saw when-"

The girl stopped me by drawing a finger across her neck. Ah-ha-ha... Well, she must be about seventeen by now, I guess the damage is worn off and/or replaced with other things.
