must be back in Toronto

I can tell I'm back in the city of Toronto: I made a comment to a woman on an elevator and she completely ignored me.

And then on the way home, it took two hours and three streetcars to go eleven kilometers. I spent more time standing around in the -7^oC weather than I would have if I'd cycled. Got a lot of reading done on my new "Kindle" e-reader, though.

Not sure what the woman's problem was (maybe there was something special going wrong, aside from her being a dully aloof Toronto woman).
