cyclist down (on the tracks, naturally)

Toronto, 2014.06.16

This morning on the way to work I passed a fellow cyclist who was down on the street, gasping in pain. She was being hauled onto a gurney by the EMS fellows. I asked a third cyclist if it had been a hit and run, and he said, "No, her wheel got caught in the tracks."

Later in the day I went to meet some fellow Green party folk at a thank you event. I handed in my lawn sign and spent most of my time chatting about not very Green matters of business planning and risk management. And so it goes when someone asks what you do.

(In which I leave the final word to someone else.)

Respect your efforts, respect yourself. Self-respect leads to self-discipline. When you have both firmly under your belt, that's real power.
