time to regroup

Toronto, 2017.05.17

Kevin's death is having an effect on my job search. I'm trying to stay focused on some of the research pieces I'm doing, and to keep scheduling new meetings. But I've noticed a change in outlook that's not helping, and that I'm needing a bit more down time to keep going.

Three reasons to be thankful:

  1. This website hit five hundred views for the first time in years.
  2. I've learned a new technique for fishing for walleye that I hope to use this summer.
  3. I've managed to land a couple of meetings with new contacts that I'm quite looking forward to.

Hey Michael, so sorry to hear of your friend's passing. keep the chin up.

Will do! He was one of my very few friends in T/O the first few years I was back. Not a city for the making of friends.

(In which I leave the final word to someone else.)

You have to choose between trusting to the natural stability of gold and the natural stability of the honesty and intelligence of the members of the Government. And, with due respect for these gentlemen, I advise you, as long as the Capitalist system lasts, to vote for gold.
